Pleasantville All-day Blood Drive May 5

Pleasantville
merchants are providing gifts, coupons and raffle items for blood donors who
participate in an ALL-DAY Blood Drive sponsored by the Pleasantville High
School and Ambulance Corps on Monday, May 5 from 9:00 am to 9:00
pm
at the Pleasantville High School on 60 Romer Avenue.  The drive is timed to help boost supplies and
avoid shortages during the summer.  Red
cells units will also be collected from qualifying candidates.  To make the event even more special, a group
of students from the Bedford Road Elementary School will be assisting at the
drive between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm as part of a wonderful program to instill
civic responsibility called Little Docs.

For donation questions, call 1-800-688-0900.  To sign up, call
1-800-933-2566 or send an email to PleasantvilleEcho@gmail.com or
click on this link:  https://drm.nybloodcenter.org/PublicScheduler/GroupLanding.aspx?GroupCode=15031.  Although it is helpful to let the
organizers know in advance that you plan to come, walk-ins are always
accepted.
