Support the Arts - Find a Treasure!

Bargain hunters keep coming back year after year for their
favorite event!  A Giant Tag Sale
to benefit the Hudson Chorale (formerly Westchester Concert Singers and the
Choral Arts Society) will be held on Friday and Saturday,
September 27 & 28, 2013, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Rain or
shine. This is not your typical neighborhood tag sale of used toys and
children’s clothing. We receive donated items in a wide variety of categories:
used and antique furniture, collectibles, jewelry, appliances, housewares,
CD’s, DVD’s, books, toys, sports equipment, good used clothing and accessories,
decorative art, etc.  Location: 107
Bedford Road, Pleasantville (corner of Manville/Route 117.
To donate
tax-deductible items, call (914) 769-9309.
Early Bird from 8:00am – 9:00am for $10.

All proceeds will benefit Hudson Chorale, the area’s largest not-for-profit community chorus.
Weekly rehearsals are held in the Scarborough Presbyterian Church, and singers
come from throughout Westchester and surrounding counties.  The chorus performs a wide range of music
featuring both traditional and contemporary composers.  The chorus’ next concert on January 25 &
26, 2014, will be a salute to American composers, highlighting the works of a
homegrown master, Randall Thompson.
Rehearsals begin on Monday, September 23, 2014 and “friendly” auditions
will be held on Monday, September 16, 2013.
See the website for contact information.
