Briarcliff Manor Rotary Art Auction set for Dec. 7

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the club's community service and international understanding projects.

Local residents of Briarcliff Manor looking to find loved ones a unique gift for the holidays could be in luck.

The Rotary Club of Briarcliff Manor will hold an art auction in the Briarcliff Manor Public Library on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m.  Items on hand will include sport and music memorabilia. Funds raised by the auction will be used for the Club's community service and international understanding projects.

The auction will be conducted by Marlin Art, a nationally renowned group of auctioneers. Marlin is a leader in fundraising for charitable causes with 38 years of experience in the field.  It has exclusive relationships with many prominent artists, including Fazzino, Borelli, Neiman, Lui, and Holland.

In addition to these, Marlin may bring selections from its collection such as Agam, Chagall, Delacroix, Tarkay, Rockwell, Boulanger, Moses, among others.

The rotary’s auction will also feature a silent auction where bidders would be able to enter their bids for specific items in writing.  Items for this silent auction would include classic items donated by club members and “well-wishers.”

Tickets for the auction are $10 each, and are available from members of the club.  They are also on sale at the Briarcliff Manor Library and Weldon's Stationery, located at 1161 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor.
