Puppies, Dogs Available for Adoption in Briarcliff Saturday

Sixty dogs and puppies were recently rescued by the SPCA of Westchester from high-kill shelters.

The SPCA of Westchester will have dozens of puppies and dogs available for adoption beginning this Saturday, according to Development Manager Lisa Bonanno-Spence.

The no-kill shelter, based out of Briarcliff Manor, recently participated in an effort to bring 60 puppies and dogs from high-kill shelters in Mississippi to the SPCA.

To adopt a puppy or dog rescued from a high-kill shelter at the SPCA of Westchester, you must complete 
an application and pay a $325 fee. All dogs must be spayed/neutered. They all receive microchips and vaccinations. The SPCA is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Visit the SPCA website for additional information and to view the available puppies.
