The Crafts at Purchase show will be held in Purchase this coming weekend, Friday through Sunday, November 1-3, 2013, with more than 100 artists and crafts people offering their products, Artrider Productions assistant director Laura Kendel said. Artrider also produces the spring and fall crafts shows at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown and other crafts fairs.
Items available for purchase will include jewelry, clothing and accessories, home decor pieces, sculpture, ceramics, glass, metalwork, paintings, photography, wood and mixed media.
This event will also include work done in clay by artists repredenting the Clay Art Center of Port Chester.
The show is managed by Artrider Productions, formed in 1983 to run crafts shows by Stacey Jarit and her husband and co-director Jeff Sobel.
The hours on Friday are from 3 to 8 p.m., on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show goes on rain or shine.
All the proceeds from admission ticket sales go to the Performing Arts Center. The Prompters, the Center's volunteer corps, is providing support services to the show producer.
