Briarcliff Rotary Selling Grapefruits for the Holidays

Briarcliff Rotary Makes Delicious Ruby Red Grapefruits Available to The Community For the Holidays

The Rotary Club of Briarcliff Manor has launched its annual "Grapefruit" project. The ruby red grapefruits are specially delivered from Texas for the holidays. They will be sold outside Weldon's Stationers at 1161 Pleasantville Rd., Briarcliff Manor on Saturday, December 22, 2012, between 10 a.m. and noon.

"These are the best grapefruits that I have ever eaten," said Rotarianne Rachel Leihbacher. "They're juicy, they're excellent—and they're Texas at its best!"

The Club is delighted to make these available to the community—just in time for the Holidays. For those unable to make it on Saturday, but who are nevertheless interested in tasting the "best of Texas" while helping the community, please contact Rotarian President Kris Chittur at kchittur@post.harvard.edu, or Rotarian Anne Cargill at annecargill1@optonline.net.
