The Rotary Club of Briarcliff Manor held its annual fun-filled basketball game at the Briarcliff High School on Friday, November 9, 2012. A packed crowd of several hundreds of parents and toddlers attended the eagerly awaited game between the Harlem Magic Masters and an "All Star" Briarcliff team at the Briarcliff High School gymnasium. For over two hours, the Magic Masters kept the crowd entertained with dazzling tricks with the basketball, all the while competing with the "All Star" team. Children squealed with delight as their parents watched from the stands.
"We are delighted at being able to continue this wonderful tradition of family entertainment and basketball skill, despite the disruption caused by Hurricane Sandy," said Rotarian President Krishnan Chittur. The event, chaired by Rotarian Director Eric Lebenson and Rotarian Past President Dr. Robert Maher, is also a fund-raiser for the Club for its various community service projects and scholarships.
