Westchester Medical Center, a major hospital here in the County, will not be accepting plans purchased through ObamaCare and the NY State healthcare exchange. The reason, reimbursements are unacceptably low and leave the hospital at a financial loss.
Remember, when you buy health care insurance, you are buying a network of doctors and hospitals as well as coverages (what is covered, how much are the co-pays, what are the deductibles). Doctors and hospitals, especially the better ones, are largely opting out of these plans. So, what good are they?

As we all now know, President Obama lied to Americans regarding many aspects of ObamaCare. Let’s review the lies, shall we:

If you like your plan you can keep your plan.
If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor.
If you like your hospital, you can continue to go there.
The average American household will save $2500 on their healthcare premiums.
This plan will not add a nickel to the national debt.
The website will work.
The website will be secure to put your family’s most personal information into.
The website will interface with insurance carrier systems.
So, now the lies are hitting home for many here in Westchester. You can’t use Westchester Medical Center. That means you can’t use doctors affiliated with Westchester Medical Center. Perhaps you are amongst the millions who have lost their plan. Perhaps you will be amongst the millions who work for an employer who will cease to offer healthcare and put you out onto ObamaCare. Or, the perhaps your employer’s plan will change radically for the worse over the next twelve months as it renews and must comply with ObamaCare.
Of course, the end-game isn’t ObamaCare at all. ObamaCare is designed to fail. The end-game is a single-payer system. What does that look like? Essentially it looks all Americans on something that looks like Medicare. At that point, the U.S. Government gains 100% control of your healthcare, unless you can afford to go to the doctors and hospitals that opt-out.
Vladimir Lenin wrote, “Socialized medicine is the cornerstone of the arch of the socialized state.” In other words, once they control you healthcare, they control you.
