Jean Arco 93, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was born on March 4, 1921 to the late Achille and Grace Orofino in New York City. She was the former owner/operator of Arco Cleaning in Mt.Kisco, N.Y.
She is survived by her loving children, George (Kim) Arco of Mt.Kisco, N.Y. and William (Lurline) Arco. She is the cherished grandmother of William and
Michael. Jean is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was an avid reader, enjoyed genealogy and had a great love of family.
The Hawthorne Funeral Home is handling the services. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 1, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m at Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 West Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, New York . A funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Wednesday, July 2, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
