Pleasantville's Katherine Griffin
The Pleasantville resident, who also has roots in Yonkers, passed away last week.
The following comes from Pleasantville's Beecher Flooks Funeral Home:
Katherine Griffin of Pleasantville and formerly of Yonkers passed away peacefully on July 1, 2013.
She is survived by her daughters Kathleen and Diane and a son Kevin. Katherine is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Francis and son Joseph.
The family will receive friends at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville on Friday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church in Scarsdale on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
