Pleasantville's Rita T. Klosz, Former Reader's Digest Employee

Klosz lived in Pleasantville for 43 years, worked locally and was a parishioner of Holy Innocents.

Rita T. Klosz of Pleasantville, NY passed away on July 16, 2013.

Rita was born on March 22, 1929 in Neckarsulm, Germany to Anna and Peter Engert. She was the youngest of six children and proud of her German Heritage. She was predeceased by her siblings. She is the beloved wife of the late Erich Klosz.

She resided in Pleasantville for 43 years and worked at Readers Digest, Avon Products and lastly Reichhold Chemicals.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son Eric and Ellen (Wife) of Stamford, CT, as well as her two grandchildren, Stephen and Lauren.

She was a longtime parishioner of Holy Innocents Roman Catholic Church in Pleasantville.

Visitation will be held at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home INC. on Thursday July 18, from 2PM-4PM and 7PM – 9PM. A mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Friday July 19 at 10AM at Holy Innocents R.C. Church in Pleasantville.
