Rose A. DiChiara,80, a longtime resident of Briarcliff Manor, passed away on September 30, 2013.
She was born on October 10, 1932 in Belleville, N.J. to John and Louise Torsiello.
Rose worked for many years at Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers in Ossining. She was a parishioner of St. Theresa’s Church in Briarcliff Manor and served on the Parish Council. Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Robert (d. 2004).
Loving mother of Linda Williams(Jerome) of Millwood, Gina of New York City, and Robert M.(Sandra) of New York City. Devoted grandmother of Ryan and Kelly Williams, and Robert X. DiChiara. Beloved sister of Peter Torsiello and Nancy Torsiello, sister-in-law Ruth DiChiara, and aunt of Annmarie, Debra, Rosanne, and David (deceased).
Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday, October 4, 2013 from 4 to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 5, 2013 10am at St. Theresa’s Church, 1394 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. 10510. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, N.J. 07936.
