Leaf Pickup in Briarcliff?

It’s November 14th, far into the leaf season.  The Village Manager has stated in numerous emails that he expects a “bumper crop” of leaves this year.  Yet, the leaves in our area have been picked up exactly once this season.  Given that all of our landscapers are coming weekly to blow the leaves out, and given the vast quantity, it would seem a weekly pickup schedule would be appropriate.  Yet the Village has been through only once to pick up.

To add insult to injury, it appears the Zoning Inspector has found the time to make the rounds to issue written warnings regarding the placement of leaves.

The Briarcliff DPW website has a page on leaf pickup.  It has no published schedule.

If the DPW were picking up leaves on a weekly schedule throughout the Village, the task would go more quickly and the safety factor the Village seems so exercised about would be diminished.
