Question of the Day: Where Do You Get Your Morning Joe?

Weigh in on our daily question in the comments section.

With the opening of on Wheeler Avenue in Pleasantville today, the Black Cow Coffee Company raises the question—can small villages support large chain coffee shops like and , as well as the smaller ones, like Black Cow and the in Briarcliff Manor?

What do you think? Should the villages be able to sustain both?

I like the smaller shops like Moonbean. They know me there.

I think all can be supported because of the different offerings at aech but do we realls need two DDs in the same village?

Unfortunately when we allow the chains to come in every town starts to look like the next one. It's nice to have local owned and run shops, leave the chains for the big cities. If we support our neighbors they won't move away. Have a great positive day, Nick @ www.TenStudioHill.com

I love small, local coffee shops. In order to survive they must have the best product, lower prices than the large chains, great service -- hopefully all three. I tried the new place twice so far, and really wanted to love it. They have some work to do on all of the above -- taste, service and price.
