Delicious Good Time, Every Week!

PHELPS HELPS

Market Sponsor Phelps Memorial Hospital Center visits to highlight their rich history of outreach and involvement in the local community. Located in Sleepy Hollow, NY, just 4.5 miles from the Pleasantville Farmers Market, Phelps generously supports the Market's chefs demos, Lets Talk Events, and our mission to connect area residents with healthy choices. Learn about Phelps Memorial Hospital Center by clicking here, or stop by on Saturday to speak with their representatives at the Market!

Great Time to Support a Farm
Support of your favorite indoor vendor is sure to have an impact on your favorite summer vendor -they are likely the same farm! Farms are around all year of course. Make a difference and a delicious, good time by shopping at the Market. For a complete summary of vendors in attendance tomorrow look at our interactive Map of the Market by clicking here.

Take n' Bake Seafood
Pura Vida Fisheries is beginning to offer prepared food items with their seafood. They'll have chowders, fishcakes and more. Ask each week to see what you can catch for your menu!

Drink MORE Good
Saturday stock up on artisanal sodas made with organic cane sugar, containing 50% less sugar/calories than regular sodas, having no preservatives or corn syrup, and flavored with REAL, hand crushed herbs & spices! Drink More Good will help you stock up: they're offering a three pack of syrups for $40 (that's $5 off the third bottle).

HOT Roti to stay, or go!
This season Bombay Emerald Chutney Company began bringing homemade vegetarian roti rolls. Tried one yet? They are Indian whole wheat bread with seasonal veggies inside. Enjoy one warmed up at the Market or take it to go.

Did you get to meet Pure Mountain Olive Oil?
Second ever visit Saturday for Pure Mountain. They have numerous olive oils and vinegars not available elsewhere. Too many in fact to list here!

Get a Taste of this: Pickled Eggs
Feather Ridge Farm is now Yellow Bell Farm. For a period they may be out of fresh eggs, but they continue to have their roasters and other chicken parts. AND they have those pickled eggs. Never stepped up to try some? This Saturday is your chance as they are offering free tastes. Pick a peck of pickled eggs if you like them!

Next Week
Maupston Design Studios is visiting with their handspun yarns!

Trying to be the Best every week:

Westchester Magazine wants to know what you think. Until February 7 they are collecting votes in their annual "Best Of Westchester" reader survey. Please take a moment to place your votes for local businesses worthy of being highlighted through Westchester Magazine's "Best Of" issue in the Spring. Encourage friends to vote too! To begin click Westchester Magazine. "Farmers Markets" has been added this year as a new category (between "Donuts" and "Fine Dining" in the list). Want to vote later? Pick up a set of free Market Coasters (Collect all four!) on Saturday as a reminder to vote. They're fun, and more useful than a string tied around your finger!
