Gather Here For Friends, Fun, and Fresh Food!

HAVE A DELICIOUS NEW YEAR!

Gather at the Pleasantville Farmers Market tomorrow to collect fresh foods, wish friends Happy New Year, and select items for the party. Consider bringing Healing Home Foods gluten-free snacks, Drink More Good artisanal soda syrups, or a Red Barn tart to give the host. Madura Farm and Mead Orchards will have plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit for the week's meals. All You Knead and Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse will have fantastic bread and cheese. Hudson Valley Duck and Krazy For Kazu's will make their first visit of the indoor season. For a complete summary of who is in look at the interactive Map of the Market by clicking here. The Market is full of ways to celebrate a delicious New Year!

Thanks!

Thanks to visitor feedback and an enormous amount of volunteer participation, in 2013 the Pleasantville Farmers Market evolved into the largest farmers market in Westchester County. Run by Foodchester, Inc., a Pleasantville-based not-for-profit, our continuing goals are to support regional agriculture, healthy eating, community togetherness, visitorship to Pleasantville, and patronage of our neighboring shops and eateries. In the spirit of the holiday we acknowledge all those who helped make 2013 such a great year, including:

Thanks to the administration and Board of Education of the Pleasantville Union Free School District for allowing us the use of the Pleasantville Middle School cafeteria. It's this spirit of cooperation between all aspects of Pleasantville life that makes our village such a great place to live, to visit, and to conduct business. We thank the Village of Pleasantville, and the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce for supporting the Pleasantville Farmers Market's mission. We acknowledge the generous support of our Sponsors and Business Supporters and we hope you will seek them out as businesses, and support them as well. We thank customers who have contributed as Friends of the Market. We thank the remarkable young people who volunteer through the Market's Intern Program. And we are especially grateful for the bonds of friendship and loyalty that have developed between shoppers at the Market and our wonderful farmers and food artisans. Thanks to all who support the Pleasantville Farmers Market, ensuring it continues to be a fun, vibrant place to meet friends, feast one's senses, and start the weekend right in 2014. Happy New Year!

In addition to our many weekly vendors, some are with us one or two Saturdays per month. Familiarize yourself with our vendors, and the frequency that they visit the Market by reviewing our Vendor List.

If so, click here for a convenient summary of directions and a map. Our winter location is just minutes away from our summer one. When you arrive we have a large main parking lot. If that is full, our signs can lead you to our overflow lot. With street parking nearby as well, the indoor market has ample parking. Click here to review out indoor market parking map.
