Starting on Monday, Oct. 1, Sheldrake Environmental Center is hosting its fourth train-the-trainer course for individuals who wish to teach sound composting and recycling practices in their communities.
Master Composter & Recycler (MCR) training enhances the skills of community leaders, educators, environmentalists, community gardeners, and recycling advocates. The program includes 6 evening classes, a team project, and 4 field trips on composting, recycling, worm composting, deconstruction, waste reduction.
The $175 program fee covers six classes, four tours and supplies. The entire program runs from October 1st to November 5th, 2012.
