Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Golf Cart Accident; Mother Told Son Owes 'Drug Money'

Sunday, June 17

4:36 p.m. — A dispute was reported at a Pleasantville Road residence.

8:26 a.m. — A Central Drive resident reported the home's mailbox had been damaged overnight. A report was filed. .

12:09 a.m. — Police responded to a Law Road residence and reported breaking up an underage drinking party. Two arrests were made. .

Saturday, June 16

2:15 p.m. — Police received a report of a hit-and-run accident on Pleasantville Road, where a car hit a tree at a high rate of speed and then left the scene. Briarcliff Manor Police corresponded with New York State Police, who were pursuing a vehicle believed to be in the accident. NYSP later reported they lost sight of the car.

Thursday, June 14

7:41 p.m. — A Frame Road resident called police and reported his charcoal grill would not extinguish. Police dispatched the to the residence, where volunteers extinguished the flames.

10:58 a.m. — A Schrade Road resident called police and reported having issues with a neighbor. The complainant told police he feels his neighbor has too many cats.

Tuesday, June 12

9:18 p.m. — A Hemlock Road resident reported she had received a threatening phone call from an unknown person who said her son owed him drug money. The woman said she believes the caller was the current boyfriend of her son's ex-girlfriend. A report of the incident was filed.

7:37 p.m. — Police responded to a one-car accident on Pleasantville Road. Injuries were reported at the scene, but no parties were transported to the hospital.

Monday, June 11

12:11 p.m. — A man was hospitalized after he was involved in a golf cart accident at . According to police, two men were in a golf cart driving at a high rate of speed and rolled over on the passenger's side. The passenger blacked out and suffered abrasions to his arms and legs and was transported to Westchester Medical Center. The driver was uninjured. The golf cart was reportedly damaged in the accident.
