Briarcliff Manor Police: Marijuana Arrest; Stolen iPhones

The following is from the police department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Here's a look at some of the recent incidents investigated by the Briarcliff Manor Police Department:

iPhones Stolen at HS
Police received a report the evening of September 13 from a resident reporting an iPhone had been taken from the high school bleachers.

Police received a second report on the afternoon of September 20 reporting a student's phone had been taken out of a backpack at Briarcliff High School.

Marijuana Arrest
Police reported pulling over a vehicle on Scarborough Road and arrested the driver, a 19-year-old Lake Peekskill male, for alleged unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was processed and released on his own recognizance with a court date.

Damaged Mailboxes
A Revolutionary Road resident reported the morning of September 28 that it appeared a vehicle had struck the home's mailbox sometime overnight.

The following morning, police reported two mailboxes had been pulled off their posts on Cottonwood Lane.

Road Rage
Police received a report at 4:50 p.m. on September 26 from a driver who said an aggressive driver pulled up beside his vehicle and smacked his car's mirror on Pleasantville Road, causing damage.
