Briarcliff Woman Arrested for DWI on the Taconic State Parkway

A Briarcliff woman was arrested on June 20, 2014 for D.W.I, on the Taconic State Parkway,the Daily Voice reports.

New York State Police in Stormville stopped Gale L. Grasso-Kelleher, 64, at approximately 11:30 p.m. on June 20th, police said. They were suspicious when they observed her driving 25 MPH in a 55MPH zone.

Troopers stated they also observed Grasso-Kelleher failing to maintain her lane of travel and impeding traffic. Her blood alcohol level was 0.17. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and is scheduled to appear in court at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the East Fishkill.
