Chappaqua Woman's Death Ruled Suicide

A missing persons alert was sent out for the 59-year-old before she was found in NYC.

The death earlier this month of Chappaqua's Susan Feinberg has been ruled a suicide, according to a spokeswoman with New York City's Office of Chief Medical Examiner.

The exact cause of death, the spokeswoman said, was from "acute intoxication by an unknown substance."

Feinberg was found dead in a hotel room in Times Square on August 20, according to the New York Police Department. Her discovery came after New Castle Police sent out a missing person alert earlier in the day.

Feinberg, 59, was reported by police to be taking a train the day before from Chappaqua to New York City for a doctor's appointment and was last seen leaving a train just after noon that day.
