Early Morning Accident Damages Utility Poles [VIDEO]
An Old Village road in Pleasantville may be shut down through Monday.

A car accident in the early morning hours on Sunday brought down utility poles in the Old Village, according to .

One vehicle was involved in the crash on Broadway between Bedford Road and Church Street. The driver was injured, but does not have life-threatening injuries.
Police received a call reporting the accident at 1:52 a.m. and the roadway is still closed to traffic, as of 8:30 p.m. on Sunday evening.

A Con Edison worker at the scene said the multiple poles affected by the accident—from in front of through Church Street—may not be completely fixed until the end of Monday.
Wires can be seen hanging low in front of the gas station under construction across the street from on Broadway.
Police reported a few area businesses lost power as a result of the incident and the affected roadway is still without power on the street.
The accident's investigation has been turned over to Westchester County Police.
