Residents around Pleasantville have been reporting daytime and evening sightings of coyotes to police.

Following the multiple reports of coyote sightings on Pleasantville's Washington Avenue Sunday night, additional reports have come to light, according to the Pleasantville Police Department.

Police told Patch today that sightings of a coyote on Willis Place, near the Pleasantville Pool, were reported Monday.

Additional reports of a coyote in the Washington Avenue area, as well as in a Hildreth Place backyard, were reported the same day.

Those reports all came in during daytime hours, police said.
