MPPD Make DWI, Marijuana Arrests in Selective Enforcement
The following information is from the police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Fourteen traffic tickets were handed out during a selective enforcement by Mount Pleasant Police over the weekend.
From 8 p.m. on Saturday to 4 a.m. to Sunday, police cars stationed on Marble Avenue in Thornwood and Broadway in Valhalla and Hawthorne handed out 14 total traffic tickets and made three arrests.
- One arrest for driving while intoxicated
- One arrest for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree and unlawful possession of marijuana
- One arrest for driving while intoxicated with a BAC of more than 0.08
