A Long Island teen reportedly driving a vehicle without a license plate lamp was arrested early this morning, New York State Police reported.
Police said they conducted a "probable cause search" of the 19-year-old Lindenhurst resident's car and reportedly found 79 grams of marijuana.
He was stopped on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Mount Pleasant at 12:15 a.m., police said.
The man was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the Fourth Degree, a misdemeanor.
He was also issued traffic tickets and is due in Mount Pleasant Court on October 25.
