Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Pleasantville Police Department from Jan. 14 to 20, 2013:
Sunday, Jan. 20
3:15 p.m. — Police reported conducting an arrest after a woman allegedly attempted to shoplift from a local business. Read more here.
Saturday, Jan. 19
4:05 p.m. — Following an accident investigtion, police arrested a woman for alleged DWI. Read more here.
Thursday, Jan. 17
6:43 p.m. — Police reported arresting a 22-year-old Pleasantville man on Marble Avenue for alleged criminal impersonation.
Wednesday, Jan. 16
10:22 p.m. — A woman called police to report a suspicious person walking around with a flashlight around Rockledge Lane. Responding police spoke with the man with the flashlight, who said he had been searching for his lost dog. The dog was located.
12:57 p.m. — Police received a report of an accident at Farrow's Auto Service on Manville Road, where a customer had reportedly struck a parked car at the business. Responding police reported that the day prior, a woman driving a Lexus had backed into a Honda parked at Farrow's. The vehicles' owners had agreed the woman would pay for the damage. The woman's husband later called the station and said he would not be paying. The incident was reported for the record and police advised the employee who owned the vehicle to file an accident report for insurance purposes.
Monday, Jan. 14
8:32 a.m. — Police responded to the scene of a reported overnight burglary at a Bedford Road business. Read more here.
