Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Pleasantville Police Department from Feb. 25 to March 3, 2013:
Sunday, March 3
3:29 p.m. — A Leland Avenue resident called police and told them there was a group of youths hanging out in the village pool parking lot, as well as cars driving fast down the street. Police reported no one was on the street or in the lot when they arrived.
1:59 a.m. — A Bedford Road resident called police and reported hearing a banging noise outside. She told police she saw three males stepping on a street sign on Ashland Avenue. Police responded and interviewed three people near the scene.
Friday, March 1
7:03 p.m. — A man called police and reported seeing older youths hanging out at the Pleasantville Presbyterian Church playground. Police said the group fled when they arrived.
4:19 p.m. — Police reported arresting a person on Bedford Road for the alleged theft of an iPhone. No further details were immediately available as the case remains under investigation.
1:38 a.m. — A Marble Avenue woman called police and stated their was loud noise coming from Paulies Bar and Grill. Police responded and said the condition was corrected.
Wednesday, Feb. 27
12:05 p.m. — An Ossining resident called police and reported his truck had been struck and damaged by a gate on Tompkins Avenue after it appeared to have been left open by a sanitation worker who had picked up trash earlier. Police said they would notify the company the gate was left open.
10:29 a.m. — A Bedford Terrace resident reported that upon returning home from a trip, he discovered his mailbox has been knocked off its posted. The man said his neighbor reporting noticing the damage on February 22. He added it appeared the box had been struck by a baseball bat or similar object and would need to be replaced.
