Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Pleasantville Police Department from Jan. 28 to Feb. 3, 2013:
Sunday, Feb. 3
12:43 a.m. — Police responded to the Jean-Jacques parking lot after a dispute was reported. Read more here.
Thursday, Jan. 31
6:02 p.m. — A Lincoln Avenue resident reported heavy wind has caused a neighbor's wooden fence to fall onto her 2011 Honda Pilot, smashing the windshield and causing "substantial" dents and scratches. The woman told police she would photograph the damage for insurance purposes.
3:51 p.m. — Police received a 911 call reporting a possible dog fight on Bedford Road. Responding police interviewed a man at the scene who denied any dog fight had taken place. A woman told police she had two escaped pit bulls in her possession and that when a man walking his dog came by, the two pit bulls approached the man's dog in a "playful" manner. Police later reported the two dogs were returned to their owner.
1:58 p.m. — A Florida resident called police on behalf of her mother, a Pleasantville resident, and stated the railing by her driveway had been damaged sometime on Monday. Police responded to the residence and reported damage to a metal handrail and no evidence the damage was the result of a crime.
Wednesday, Jan. 30
12:02 p.m. — A Bedford Road resident reported damage to her vehicle. Read more about the unusual incident here.
