Pleasantville Police Blotter: Piece of Fence Removed; One Injured in Car Accident
The following information was supplied by the Pleasantville Police Department. When arrests are noted, they do not indicate a conviction.
Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the from June 20 – 26, 2011:
Sunday, June 26
10:43 a.m. – A party reported losing one license plate in the village. A report was filed.

9:40 a.m. – An automobile accident involving a limosine and a car was reported on Manville Road near the intersection of Wheeler Avenue. One party was taken to the hospital with a leg injury.
Saturday, June 25

11:04 p.m. – A party notified police that there was a large group gathered near on Nannahagan Road. Responding officers moved the group along.
Friday, June 24
7:01 p.m. – A larceny was reported on Bedford Road. The incident is under investigation.
Thursday, June 23
9:47 p.m. – Police responded to Foxwood after a party was reportedly screaming. After interviewing residents, police determined the person screaming suffers from night terror.
3:16 p.m. – Two neighbors on Bedford Road were reportedly arguing over flowers that had been planted on the street. One party claimed the flowers were planted in a common area, while the other stated it was personal property.
10:30 a.m. – A Romer Avenue homeowner reported a section of a fence had been taken from the residence and placed on the property. The fence was not otherwise damaged.
Tuesday, June 21
1o:58 p.m. – The responded to a call at the Foxwood Condominiums and determined a smoke detector had been set off by food on the stove. No damage was reported.
11:48 a.m. – A father requested police check on his daughter at her Pleasantville home. Responding officers reported everything was OK at the residence.
Monday, June 20
7:11 p.m. – Police made an arrest on Saratoga Avenue. No further details were available.

Friday, June 24 – A Bear Ridge Road resident reported the theft of their mailbox.
Monday, June 20 – A resident of Palmer Lane reported the theft of her mailbox.
