Pleasantville Police Blotter: Woman Charged with Stealing Beer; Late Night Vacuuming

The following is from the police department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the  from March 19 — 25, 2012:

Sunday, March 25

1:00 a.m. — Police located two males walking toward the downtown from after receiving a complaint that they allegedly threw something at a nearby residence. The New Jersey and Long Island men were questioned by police. The complainant was asked to follow up with police if charges need to be filed.

Saturday, March 24

7:35 a.m. — A Washington Avenue resident reported the family's 19-year-old son missing. He arrived home at approximately 9:39 a.m. after spending the night away from home.

Friday, March 23

8:55 a.m. — A 58-year-old Briarcliff Manor woman was arrested at police headquarters and charged with petty larceny, after she allegedly stole beer from 7-Eleven the day prior.

Thursday, March 22

1:59 p.m. — An employee of reported beer had been stolen from the store. A woman was arrested the following morning in relation to the alleged larceny.

Wednesday, March 21

2:50 a.m. — Police reported a couple was arguing in a car on Sky Top Drive. The pair were sent on their way without incident.

Monday, March 19

11:27 p.m.  — A Stanley Street resident called police to report an upstairs neighbor was vacuuming late at night. Police responded to the scene and reported the situation was corrected.
