Pleasantville Police: Controlled Substance, No License Arrests

The following information is from the police department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Pleasantville Police Department from June 24 — 30, 2013.

Sunday, June 30

8:49 a.m. — Police received a call from a Skytop Drive resident who reported someone was using a power saw too early in the morning. Police responded to the scene, where a house was under construction, and advised the parties of the noise ordinance.

Thursday, June 27


10:48 a.m. — Police stopped a vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver, a 39-year-old White Plains resident, for allegedly driving without a license.

Wednesday, June 26

4:10 p.m. — Police received a report of a youth's skateboard being broken earlier in the day.

11:37 a.m. — Police arrested a 30-year-old Pleasantville man on an outstanding warrant for criminal possession of a controlled substance.

11:35 a.m. — A resident reported to police a possible identity theft incident, involving the unauthorized use of an Amex credit card.

Monday, June 24

5:14 p.m. — Police received a report of a disorderly man on a BeeLine bus in the village. Read more about the incident here.
