M&Ms Taken from 7-11 Police received a 911 call from a 7-Eleven employee at 5:23 p.m. on September 23 reporting a man had taken a case of M&Ms from the store.
Police were able to track down the man, a 38-year-old Jersey City, resident, who fled on foot toward Memorial Plaza.
He was arrested and processed at police headquarters.

Suspicious Early Morning Encounter A Thornwood man went into police headquarters at about 6:48 a.m. on September 17 and told police that while he was walking to his car on Memorial Plaza, he saw a man near his vehicle.
The complaint told police he asked the man what he was doing and he replied, "I am not trying to take your car. The keys are on the trunk," and proceeded to run away.
He said the car keys had been under the driver's side floor mat of his vehicle when he left.
The car owner copied down the license plate number of the car the male got into and shared it to police.
Police contacted the suspicious man, who went into police headquarters later that morning and explained he noticed the vehicle's keys inside the car and was looking through the vehicle to find a contact number for the owner.
