Police Release Photos of Materials Found with Deceased Infant

Crimestoppers is offering a reward in exchange for information pertaining to the homicide of an infant.

Officials are continuing to investigate the murder of a newly-born infant who was found in an Elmsford recycling facilityearlier this week.

Westchester County Police said in an update this week that no arrests have been made yet in connection with the brutal homicide that may have originated in Rockland County.

Officials released two photos of items found in a bag with the deceased infant—" a black skirt and a towel with a floral design."

It is believed that the baby was disposed of in a dumpster in Spring Valley, according to county police spokesman Kieran O'Leary. Police are withholding information about the specific way in which the baby was killed due to the status of the investigation.

Westchester County Police said, "If anyone recognizes these items and can associate them with a pregnant female, they should contact the Westchester County Police at 914-864-7700 or through our tip line at 1-877-220-3560. We also accept tips electronically at TIPS@WCCOPS.COM. People can also call NYS Crimestoppers at 1-866-313-TIPS.  Crimestoppers is offering a $2,500 reward in the case."
