The Pleasantville on Bedford Road has been the target of two crimes within a week of each other, police reported.
On Tuesday of this week, police were notified of an alleged larceny that was reported to have taken place between 2:26 and 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon.
According to records, the assailant took several items, including 10 boxes of NyQuil and DayQuil and seven boxes of nasal spray.
The suspect was described by witnesses as a white male in his late teens or early 20s wearing a North Face jacket.
A week prior on Tuesday, Dec. 27, police received a report at 2:38 p.m. in the afternoon of criminal mischief at 7-Eleven.
Police responded to the scene and found the screen of the store's Redbox—a DVD dispensing machine—had been shattered by an unknown object.
Employees said the machine, located outside by the store's entrance, had been tampered with sometime between 1 and 6:30 a.m. in the morning.
