State Troopers Arrest Man in Mount Pleasant for Driving While Intoxicated After Crash

A Carmel man was arrested in Mount Pleasant on July 18, 2014 by New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks for driving while intoxicated.

Police arrested Roberto Cotza, 43, of Carmel, New York, after state troopers were dispatched at approximately 11:20 p.m. on July 18 to investigate property damage from an auto accident on the Sprain Brook Parkway. A police investigation determined that Cotza was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
 
Police found that Cotza's  Blood Alcohol Content was .10% after he took a breathalyzer test. Cotza was issued traffic tickets which ordered him to appear in the Town of Mount Pleasant Court on July 31, 2014.
