Students Evacuated from Pleasantville HS

An activated carbon dioxide sensor triggered the evacuation today, the district said.

Update as of 12:01 p.m. — 

The fire department has cleared the HS building for re-entry.  No issues were found.  All HS students are returning to the HS building.

From Pleasantville High School
:

A CO2 sensor in a HS science room went off today. Fire alarm went off as well. Students evacuated immediately. Due to rain, students sent to the MS. Fire department responded immediately and are checking the situation. Once we get the all clear from the fire department and the CO2 is reset, students will return to the HS.
