Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles occurred in the northbound lanes of the Taconic State Parkway, near the Millwood exit, this afternoon.
According to a sergeant at the , the department received a call regarding the accident at approximately 3:49 p.m. and dispatched the to the scene of the accident.
A Briarcliff Manor firefighter who responded said one of the vehicles was rolled over during the accident, and was cleared from the scene on a flatbed truck.
New York State Police, as well as the Millwood Fire Department, Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Chappaqua Amublance Corps also responded to the scene.
Millwood Fire Chief Michael Horan* said Ossining ambulance units took injured parties to the hospital.
Briarcliff Manor police estimate the accident was cleared by approximately 4:20 p.m.
