Town of Ossining Police Blotter: Woman Running on 9A; Possibly Sick Baby Deer

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the  in the Town of Ossining from July 2 — 6, 2012.

Friday, July 6

10:23 p.m. — A resident of Somerstown Road reported to Westchester County Police that a vehicle pulled into his driveway and a man he does not know got out and walked to the rear of his property. Police officers who responded subsequently determined that the man had gone to the wrong location and was now at a neighboring home.

Thursday, July 5

10:06 a.m. — A resident of Kelly Court contacted Westchester County Police regarding a possibly sick baby deer in the backyard of the home. The animal, which did not appear to be injured and was apparently seeking shade, ran off when the officer approached.

Wednesday, July 4

A resident of Cedar Lane contacted Westchester County Police about a vehicle he said was illegally parked on his property. The residence was determined to be in the Village of Ossining and the village police department was contacted and responded.

Monday, July 2

11:30 p.m. — Westchester County Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Somerstown Road. The husband-and-wife dispute was verbal in nature only.

9:15 a.m. — Westchester County Police received a report that a woman was running in the middle of southbound Route 9A south of Route 134. The woman was gone upon an officer’s arrival.

1:36 a.m. — Westchester County Police assisted a 53-year-old Cedar Lane resident who was having severe stomach pains. The Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps also responded and transported the woman to Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow.
