The Ossining Police Department is investigating two new burglaries in the village. The second burglary that the police department is investigating happened on Tuesday. The people who live at the Croton Street home say that jewelry and more than $600 was taken. The people who live at the home say that there son was sleeping when the cash and jewelry was taken, between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Investigators believe that someone got into the home through the garage. The son, who was home sleeping at the time, says he heard a noise in the garage around 4:30 a.m., but he didn't realize that someone had broken in. The residents say that they were out doing a newspaper delivery route while their son was home sleeping.
