Two Marijuana Arrests in Briarcliff Manor

The following is from the Briarcliff Manor Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

The has made two marijuana-related arrests in the past week.

On Friday, police received a phone call from a resident who reported a suspicious vehicle parked on Winterberry Lane at 9:41 p.m.

Police responded to the scene and found one of the two people in the car to be in possession of a substance believed to be marijuana. The 20-year-old Briarcliff Manor resident was arrested at the scene.

The following day, police performed a traffic stop on Route 9 near Revolutionary Road at approximately 1:50 a.m.

The driver, a 23-year-old Ossining resident, allegedly was driving with a suspended driver's license and in a vehicle with a suspended registration.

Police also said the man was found with marijuana. He was arrested and released on $100 bail.
