A Briarcliff Manor man in has died, his attorney revealed in 's Tuesday session.
A death certificate for Reza Daneshvar, who was 21 at the time of his arrest in Pleasantville, was received by the court on August 17.
He reportedly passed away at Phelps Memorial Hospital on July 24.
According to the Westchester County Medical Examiner's Office, Daneshvar's cause of death is listed as "pending" and has not yet been determined.
In Pleasantville, Daneshvar was alleged to have stabbed a 20-year-old Briarcliff Manor man in the village.
After he appeared multiple times in village court, to Westchester County for a Superior Court Information (SCI) felony hearing.
On Tuesday, Village Justice John Curley granted Daneshvar's attorney's request to have the case marked abated by death. The bail in the case was also released by the court.
Daneshvar in the Town of Mount Pleasant following an alleged incident earlier in November 2011.
In the town, the case has not yet been marked abated by death, but is on the calendar for September 20.
