Briarcliff Manor Road Repaving to Begin Tuesday

The village's annual repaving project will affect roads roads in the Long Hill Road East area.

Briarcliff Manor's annual road repaving will begin on Tuesday, Village Manager Philip Zegarelli announced.

"You may have noticed that our DPW is currently preparing the surface work," he wrote in his manager's update Friday. "The roads to be repaved are: Long Hill East from South State to last year’s end point; Long Hill East from Sleepy Hollow to Elm Road; and, Elm Road from Long Hill Road East to Tuttle Road. This ends up being about 8,150 feet of 2-lane road."

If you live on or near this roads—or regularly use them—"Please note that normal travel routes may be affected. Expect delays and sorry for any inconvenience," Zegarelli said.

Due to Yom Kippur, the work will cease by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday and resume again on Wednesday.
