Could Ossining Councilman Peter Tripodi run against State Senator David Carlucci?

Republican Town of Ossining Councilman Peter Tripodi may run against New York State Senator David Carlucci, a Democrat, according to NYaltnews' Cliff Weathers.

Patch  Tripodi was named as a possible challenger when the Ossining councilman spoke in front of the Rockland and Westchester GOP during their convention last month.

The fact that the to include Ossining along with its Rockland County constituents creates a unique dynamic as Democratic State Senator Carlucci runs for re-election this November.
