Pleasantville Board Agrees to Holiday Parking Meter Fee Suspension
Free parking will be available from Dec. 7 to Dec. 30.
The Village of Pleasantville Board of Trustees recently agreed to terms for this year’s holiday parking meter fee suspension, the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce announced.
Free parking will be available to all, except 12-hour meters, from Saturday, Dec. 7 through Monday, Dec. 30. Although there will be no need to feed the meters, parking limits will be enforced to ensure turnover.
The board hopes shop owners and their staff will be mindful that parking spaces in the downtown shopping district and the suspension of meter fees are intended for the benefit of shoppers, the Chamber of Commerce said.
