New York's Republican presidential primary is today but don't expect the excitement seen from earlier nomination contests.
With former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum having dropped out earlier this month, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is now being referred to as the "presumptive front runner" in published media reports.
Even in the closing weeks of Santorum's candidacy, polls for New York (including Quinnipiac and Siena) showed Romeny with large double-digit leads.
Santorum is still listed on the ballot, according to records from the state's board of elections.
