'The Following' Shoots Scene on North State

Kevin Bacon stars in the Fox show that has been using a Town of Ossining building as a backdrop.

Seemingly out-of-place fire trucks and television news vans again caused traffic to slow on North State Road in Briarcliff Manor today as Fox television series The Following continued filming.

The series, starring Kevin Bacon, has been using the former Town of Ossining Westchester County Police command station as the "Havenport Sheriff's Office," according to temporary signage.

As Patch previously reported, the Town is being compensated for the use of the otherwise vacant and up-for-sale structure.

A crew member said "exterior" filming was wrapping up this afternoon.

Patch caught a scene—featuring uniformed police officers, FBI investigators and U.S. Marshal characters—being shot outside the building. There were also multiple "reporters" gathered in front of the building.

Also on scene—real local police officers. Westchester County Police vehicles and personnel were monitoring the shooting again today.

Dozens of actors and crew members crossed North State Road to the parking lot behind The Tuscan Grille following the completion of the scene.

"The Following" airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. on Fox.
