Todd Elementary School Students Teach Technology to Atria Seniors

Todd Elementary School students came to Atria Briarcliff Manor on March 12th to teach our seniors how to use new technologies such as iPads, iPhones, and computer programs.

On Tuesday, March 12th, about 15 students from Todd Elementary School came with their parents to Atria Briarcliff Manor to teach the Atria Residents how to use technologies such as iPhones, iPads, and various computer programs. The students also played board games with the residents.

There were about 30 Atria Residents who participated in this fun intergenerational program that captivated the residents’ attention.

The residents learned a lot about these new technologies and how to use them effectively. Seen in one of the pictures, resident Anna Greenberg, who just turned 101 last week, was thrilled with the new technology and having the children around to demonstrate how it can be used. The 4th and 5th graders from Todd Elementary School stayed from 6:30p.m. – 8:00p.m. that evening and nearly every resident remained for the entire program to learn from the students.
