Author Dan Gutman shared not only his books with students at , but his challenges.
“I got lots of rejection letters,” he told the children, “but did I give up? No!”
He encouraged them to find what they loved to write about and stick with it.
Author of The Baseball Card Adventure Series and The Weird School series, including Ms. Beard Is Weird, which will be released in June, Gutman took students through the writing process, including which genre to choose from, as well as the publishing process.
