Captain Lada Simek will share his knowledge of the oceans in an exciting lecture and multimedia presentation. He will explain underwater breathing and survival, the physics of air under pressure, and the equipment needed to go underwater.
Captain Simek will also display specimens of marine life, explain how fish breathe in water, and describe how the hydrogen bomb influence our understanding of the coral reef. Audience members will also see fascinating photographs of the ocean from space and pictures of living creatures thought to be extinct. This presentation is for adults and children ages 11 and older.
Captain Lada Simek has spent a lifetime working as an educator, shipwreck researcher and Master Scuba Diving Instructor. He is the Senior Director of Beneath the Sea, the larges non-profit diving exposition in the United States.
