All-Section Wrestling

's Obum Anyichie (285 pounds) enjoyed a great season on the mat and was rewarded for it as he was named all-section in Division II.

Men's Basketball

(Pleasantville-Iona Prep '10) and his University of Vermont teammates earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Vermont will travel to Dayton, Ohio to face fellow No. 16 seed Lamar as one of the First Four games in the first round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The game will be seen nationally on truTV.
